How to Shut Down Windows at a Specific Time

If you ever read my article about How to set auto shutdown in windows, now I will write easy tips about How to Shut Down Windows at a Specific Time.
Using these method windows will set the computer to close all running application properly before shut down.

Follow the step below to shutdown the computer at specific time:

For example you want to shutdown the computer at 11.00 PM

Click Start -> Run and type
at 23:00 shutdown -s

then Click OK, when the time exactly at 11.00 PM a small window will appear to count time of system shutdown.

xp shutdown

If you want to cancel the process, then type the following syntax
at 23:00 shutdown -a
