List of Sony Ericsson Secret Codes Mobile Phone

After posting about Secret Codes Of Nokia mobile phone in my previous article, here’s Secret Codes for Sony Ericsson cellular Phone. Take note that all the secret codes listed in this article are generally suitable for most of the Sony Ericsson cell phones models, but there might still be some that don’t work.

Note : code > means you have to press joystick, arrow keys or jogdial to the right and < press to the left.

Warning: Some Function could be changing your mobile phone configuration, do not press the code if you’re not sure about the function. I am not liable for any damages caused to the phone due to trying out of these codes. Use the code with your own risk.

Safe Code and function to try:

1. >*<<*<* Secret menu / Software version
You'll see phone model, software info, IMEI, configuration info, sim lock status, REAL time clock, total call time and text labels. You can also test your phones services and hardware from this menu (main display, camera, LED/illumination, Flash LED, keyboard, earphone, speaker, microphone, radio and vibrator tests)

2. *#06# Serial Number / IMEI
For checking the International Mobile Equipment Identity

3. 0# Shortcut to last dialed numbers

Advance User Only:

1. <0000> Reset Theme

2. <**< Network Information

3. <- * * <- Lock status
SIM lock - Do not lock your phone if you don't know the unlock code. This is another good check before you buy any phone, especially second hand ones. If phone is SIM locked, you may not be able to switch to other GSM operators.

4. < 0 0 0 0 > Default Language

If you change the language from default to any other language, then it may be difficult to switch to default language.

5. Shortcut to sim numbers: On main menu type a number and press #

6. >*<<*<*> or >*<<*<*> Programming Checks

7. 904059 + > (to exit 3 + <) Phone Test

8. Opening phone without a SIM card: **04*0000*0000*0000# followed by on 'Wrong Pin' number

9. *#0000# Reset English Menu

10. (Short): 987 + > Programming Menu

11. (Long): 923885 + > Programming Menu

12. Field Test: 904090 + > (to exit 904090 + >)

13. 904059 + > (to exit 3 + <) Phone Test

14. 904095 + menu DM mode 904959 + menu Analog Mode
