Read More/Post Summaries - Jump Breaks Feature From Blogger

Blogger introduce another Blogger Birthday feature. Now Read More/Post Summaries available in blogger platform. In the past you should add some code to get this feature and many blogger users feel the process was complicated and experiences an error code.

For now blogger announce the latest birthday present: Jump Breaks.
With Jump Breaks you can show just a snippet of your post on your blog's index page. Blogger will insert a "Read more" link to the full post page where your readers can keep reading.



The easiest way to test this new function is to use Blogger's new post editor, either by creating your blog posts through Blogger in Draft or by enabling this through the Settings>Basic tab of your dashboard.

Once enabled, you should see a new button on the toolbar to insert a "Jump Break". Place your cursor where you would like the jump break to start in your blog post.




If you don't use the new post editor, you can still insert a jump break in Edit HTML mode by adding where you want to break your post.



If you Want to change the "Read more" text to something more your style, You can edit the "Read more" text by clicking Layout and then Edit the Blog Posts widget.
