Free Software Download Alternative to Microsoft Visio

Alternative software for Microsoft Visio is one of the software that I am looking for when browsing in Google. Now it is available, I find the solution for this software. Dia is a program to draw structured diagrams just like Microsoft Visio but its free and open source.
You can download Dia from http://dia-installer.de/index_en.html it is a 16.5 MB download from Sourceforge. It is also available for Linux and can probably be run on a Mac as well.



After Download and install the program you will see this program just like Microsoft Visio. As new user from this software I found this software easy to use, but when I check compatibility with Microsoft Visio File (VSD) this software cannot open/ doesn’t support to open the file.

Overall, I think this is excellent software as alternative for Microsoft Visio. If you already try this software (DIA) I would love to hear from you in the comments!
