My Friend asks me if I can help him to transfer data from his Blackberry Bold to the latest Blackberry Bold 9790. Actually there is an easy way to transfer data between Blackberry because there is Blackberry Desktop Software.
For How to Transfer Blackberry Data using Blackberry Desktop Software follow the step below:
1. Download Blackberry Desktop Software from http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
2. Once you have completely downloaded this software, get a USB cord, plug that into phone and computer.
3. On the desktop manager, click on icon "Backup and Restore". Then "Backup". Once your backup is done, plug your new phone in and click on "Restore", icon to the right of Backup, and click on file name ex: backup-(2012-01-19) ipd file.
4. When Finished, All your data such as address book and other applications and or files should be working in your new blackberry .
