Tips to Speed up Internet Explorer Connection

In the previous article I wrote about Tips to Speed up Firefox Connection, now for Internet Explorer user, you can also have some tips to Speed up Internet Explorer Connection
Follow the steps below:

1. Click Start -> Run and type “regedit” without quote

2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Sofware\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Setting

3. On the right Page, double click default file and give 10 for value data

A new version of the AutoFill feature for Web forms has better accuracy. Users can now save toolbar settings and access their bookmarks and custom buttons from any version of IE with Google Toolbar. Also, 404 or DNS error pages will provide suggestions for top-related pages or potential typographical corrections, similar to the "Did you mean?" feature in Google Search. If you want to navigate the Internet faster, using shortcut key is one way to speed up your work. Moving your hand from your keyboard to the mouse will take your time. If you are using Firefox browser, you can use shortcut key below to make your browsing faster and more fun :)



Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Spacebar : Page down one full screen at a time
  • Shift – Spacebar : Page up one full screen at a time
  • Down Arrow : Scroll down
  • ESC : Stops that current page
  • Page Down : Page down one full screen at a time
  • Up Arrow : Scroll Up
  • Page Up : Page up one full screen at a time
  • End : Go to the Bottom (end) of the page
  • Home : Go to the Top of page
  • F5 : Reload the current page
  • F6 : Go to address-bar
  • F11 : Full screen
  • Alt + Home : Go to home page
  • Alt + Enter : Opens the address in a new tab
  • Alt + F4 : Closes the window
  • Ctrl + L : Go to the Address bar
  • Ctrl + K : Go to the search box
  • Ctrl + = : Increase the text size, zoom in
  • Ctrl + - : Decrease the text size, zoom out
  • Ctrl + P : Print the current page
  • Ctrl + H : Opens the Browsing History in a column on the left
  • Ctrl + T : Open a new tab
  • Ctrl + W : Close current tab
  • Ctrl + Tab : rotate forward to the next tab
  • Ctrl + 1-9 : Choose a number to jump to that specific tab
  • Ctrl + B : Open Bookmarks Column on Left
  • Ctrl + I : Close Bookmarks Column
  • Ctrl + F ­: Find a specific word on the page
  • Ctrl + D : Create a bookmark for the current page
  • CTRL + R : Reloads the current page.
  • Ctrl + Enter (.com) / Shift + Enter (.net) / CTRL + Shift + Enter (.org)These three shortcuts will complete the .com, .net, or .org addresses for you. For example, typing gokhiel in the location bar, then pressing CTRL + Enter will automatically complete the address www.gokhiel.com and load the website.
  • Ctrl + Shft + Tab : Rotate back to the previous tab
  • Ctrl + Shft + T : Undo closing of a tab
  • Ctrl + Shft + Del : Clears your private data

Mouse Shortcuts

  • Ctrl – scroll up : Decrease the text size, zoom out
  • Ctrl – scroll down : Increase text size, zoom in
  • Middle click on link : Open the link in a new tab
  • Middle click on a tab : Close the tab

Tips to Speed up Firefox Connection

Mozilla Firefox
is one of the most popular browser which is used by the internet users when browsing on the internet. Do you know there is some trick to speed up Firefox connection?
Ok, Follow the step below:

1. Open your Mozilla Firefox browser

2. Type “about:config” (without quote) on the address bar

3. Change some option below,

network.http.max-connections: 48 network.http.max-connections-per-server: 24 network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12 network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6 network.http.pipelining: true network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 8 network.http.proxy.pipelining: true

you can use Filter Search box to find the preference name, after you find the setting, double click than change the integer value

4. Create new Integer.
Right click anywhere on Firefox page than choose New->Integer

5. Enter the Preference Name “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” then set the value = “0
This code to remove delay time on Firefox

6. Restart your Firefox browser by closing and Reopen it again.

Note : Before you change the setting its recommended to write down the default setting, so if there is a problem after changed, you can put back the setting easily.

How to Restore Accidentally Closed Tab on Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer

Accidently closed tab browser is common user problem, Closed Tab is quite annoying problem.
But now most of browser already have simple way to recover and reopen Accidentally closed tab.
Below are easy steps to recover the problem on Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer

1. Firefox
You can re-open the recently closed tabs by navigating through the menu History->Recently Closed Tabs. You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+T, to open the accidentally closed tab

2. Google Chrome
To open recently closed tab in chrome simply open new tab and in lower-right side, you will find details of your recently closed tab ,new tab page in Google Chrome displays a list of the three tabs that you have most recently closed, to get more information of your recently closed tab visit chrome history ( Tools - History ). You can also use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+T, to open the accidentally closed tab.

3. Internet Explorer
To open recently closed tab in Internet Explorer 7 you need to install an add-on for Internet Explorer7 called “IE7 Open Last Closed Tab”. You can download the add on from here . After you have this add-on you can use shortcut Alt+X to restore the last close tab and using Alt+Q to choose the most recent closed tab visually

Thanks to Microsoft on Internet Explorer 8 comes with much advance feature to restore last closed tab. On IE8 simply if you close tabs accidentally, just open a new blank tab and you can a list of last 10 close tabs and by clicking that you can restore it. Also, it has option to open all listed tabs at once.
