To Remove Icons from the System Tray follow the steps below:
1. Right click on the task bar and click Properties
2. In Taskbar and Start Menu Properties select Notification Area tab.
Tick mark the Hide Inactive Icons box and click Customize.
3. On the Customize Notification Icons, select the application that appear in the system tray area. Select “hide” any icon that you don’t want to show then click OK.
4. Now, the system tray will have an arrow that you can click to view any hidden icons.
