Tips For Buying LCD Monitor
1. Check for the Specification:
- Resolution: Resolution is the maximum number of pixels that can be displayed on the monitor's screen. The greater the resolution, the higher the clarity and picture quality your monitor can achieve.
- Contrast ratio: means that the monitor will have deeper black and white color.
- Viewing angles: View angle is the area in front of the screen that you can view a picture without distortion. LCD monitors can have a view angle between 130 and 170 degrees.LCD monitors produces a small shade, which can be seen if we look it from a different angles, so if you are not looking straight into a monitor this is a thing to consider.
- Response time/ Refresh Rate : The refresh rate determines how many times the screen can refresh itself. For serious gamers this is essential, a few milliseconds can make a difference when playing an online game.
- Aspect ratio: The standard wide and height is measured in inches. Aspect ratio is ratio of how the picture is displayed. Standard proportion is 4:3 but newer HD movies are filmed in 16:9 ratio.
- Luminance: Measuring the brightness of the monitor is important also, measure of 200-250 or ever more is consider to be a good buy.

3. There are many companies that sells LCD monitors like Samsung, HP, Acer...etc, choose the brand that there is authorized service in your town, if something happened in your monitor its easy to ask the guarantee or ask for services.
