When you take pictures from your digital camera, the file name will create such as DSC00314.JPG, DSC00315.JPG, DSC00316. JPG, DSC00317.JPG. This file name will make you confused to identify the event because the name of the file does not reflect on the situation of what the picture is taken. Change the photos file names manually one by one will take a lot of your time. Using these tips below you can change the file names all at once.

1. Open a folder of digital photo files whose names you want to change

open picture file

2. From the Window Menu, Click Edit and then click Select All, Or you can use keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A. Right Click the file then click Rename

3. Type the name you want to use to identify all the digital photo files in the folder. Choose a name that allows you to identify a photo from this folder at a later date.
Note: You can type the file extension after the file name. but for JPEG images format in my experience it is OK if not use the file extension.
