Bing (currently Live Search, formerly Windows Live Search and MSN Search, codenamed Kumo) is the name of Microsoft's new web search engine. To get more traffic to your website/ blog, submit your site to Bing will get a lot of advanteges.If you already submit your website/ blog to MSN Live Search (Read: How to submit website/ blog to MSN), No need to submit your site to Bing, your Website/ Blog already list automatically by Bing Search Engine.
How to Add Website/ blog to Bing:
1. Navigate to Bing Webmaster Center , You will need to sign in with your Hotmail account or Windows Live ID to access the webmaster center.
2. Click on Add a Site and enter the Web address of your site in the box provided. Add Sitemap Address is an optional, but it is highly recommended to add one.
3. Next step is to verify your website and this can be done either with XML verification or HTML meta tag verification.
You can choose the Meta Tag Authentication Method by highlighting the code provided and copying it using Ctrl + C. Keep this browser window open as we will come back here.
4. In a new window of your browser login in to your blog / Website and Place the Meta Tag below <head> code
5. Once your website or blog is validated, you can see the complete details of the website submitted like number of URLs indexed, any issues with the crawling etc.
6. Done. You can wait and comeback to Bing Webmaster Center pages to check if your website/ blog already Index by Bing Search Engine.
